designed by Charles & Ray Eames in 1945 for the Evans Furniture Company, USA, moulded laminated wood, height 21.5 cm, 38.5 x 27 cm. (DR)
Only produced for a short period. Altogether 2,500 of such children’s stools were made, only few of which have survived. They were marketed in 1946/47 by Alexander and Susan Girard, Grosse Point, Michigan, and Kitty Weese in Chicago.
